At first glance the dial appeares to be anonymous but a closer look reveals a very rare inscription that remained unfilled/unpainted. Reference 6152 – not to be confused with the more common later Ref. 6152/1 – is one of the rarest vintage Rolex-Panerai models ever made. Ref. 6152 was the first Rolex-made Panerai watch model produced after World War 2. Our fellow collector friend Assaf Burstein from Israel provided some very nice comparing photos of the brand new PAM372 next to his 6152/1.
