rolex explorer 2 too big | rolex explorer 2 40mm rolex explorer 2 too big I'm lusting after an Explorer II (polar, 42mm) and just checked it out at an AD. Is it too big on my wrist? Robeža starp ilūziju un realitāti. Visšausminošākais bija kāds vasaras rīts. Kā vienmēr viesistabā mani sveicināja vecāki, bet tajā dienā tie nebija mani vecāki, bet gan svešinieki, es viņus neatpazinu – bija tikai blāva nojausma, ka sejas kaut kur tālumā, garāmejot ir redzētas. rolex explorer ii 42mm polar
For many wrists, for a robust watch the sweet spot seems to be in 38-40 mm range, and for a more stylish watch in the 36-39 mm range. Rolex should have sticked with 40mm for this watch. To my taste it is too big, but if you like it like that, that is what matters. To owners of both a 6-digit Sub/GMT AND a 6-digit Explorer II Polar, how much . I'm lusting after an Explorer II (polar, 42mm) and just checked it out at an AD. Is it too big on my wrist?
I like the look of an Explorer II, but I'm worried 42mm might look too large on a 7" wrist. I'ts not like I can try one on at my local AD. Anyone have any thoughts or experience here?I'd keep it, but if you don't like it just sell it and get something smaller like the Submariner. I just ordered the Explorer 2 with the black watch face, but thinking this one is the one to go with. .

I just ordered the Explorer 2 with the black watch face, but thinking this one is the one to go with. The white and orange look crisp. I think you’re wearing it on your hand. Hard to know if it’s too big for wrist.
I have a 7 inch wrist and find the new explorer 2 to big and clunky. The previous generation is far better in size on my wrist. Love the orange hand and dial on the new one. The majority of what I read led me to believe the Exp II wore huge and would look too big on my 6.75" wrist. When I eventually tried it on (very difficult I appreciate) I loved it instantly. It wears similar to my Sub 114060 IMO although side by side it appears slightly larger. I tried the new GMT Pepsi which I thought I would love but it was way to big for my wrist. I wear a Daytona with the steel bezel and it fits perfectly. Tried on the 36m DJ and felt too small. I have a 6.7" wrist and do wear a 44mm GS GMT, which is OK but pushing it. I have tried the 42mm Explorer II and it is fine, and I have ordered one (coming any day/week/month now). Maybe I have just gotten used to larger watches. For you it might be slightly too large, sorry to say.
Dimensionally, as mentioned, the Explorer II measures in at 42mm across, which for some is simply too big. But, because the case is relatively slim at 12mm thick, it does wear smaller than you may think.
