I have a 7.5 inch wrist and a number of watches that are 36mm or smaller. Really depends on lug-to-lug and whether you are wearing a dress watch or a sports watch. I wouldn't wear a sports watch under 38mm on a 7.5 inch wrist. Just wanted to see photos of the new rolex explorer on a 7” wrist. If you have them, please show it off! Thanks! I am considering to acquire a Rolex Explorer 1, but after watching tons of reviews on the 214270 (39mm) version and the new 124270 with 36mm I am more confused than ever. I have a 7.5 inch wrist, and the two tone Explorer is my favorite watch. No one in the real world has ever said, “That looks two small on your wrist.” Many people, have said, “That’s a beautiful watch.” As a general rule, I'd say 36mm is somewhat small for your size wrist. I have about the same size wrist and I recently got a bit obsessed with the 36mm Datejust - they look fabulous in photos. But when I tried a few on at the AD, it just didn't work, it was *tiny*. Yes, the 36 is a much better size for the dress watch. You can pull off the 41 as well though, so it's up to you on the specific look you are going for. certainly plenty of people buy the biggest watch they can because they think bigger is better
