Is it worth spending an extra USD 80 to get the Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement .ETA makes the ETA 2893-2, which is a GMT movement from the Swiss factory. The genuin.
Both movements are very similar as the ETA 2836-2 is an advancement of the . Is it worth spending an extra USD 80 to get the Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement instead of the Asian ETA 2836-2? I have read the specs on both watches, and the movement is the only difference. Links:The ETA caliber 2836-2 is a Swiss made automatic movement with 25 jewels. This movement is part of ETA’s Mecaline collection. Some of the topics covered in this caliber listing: ETA 2836-2 Vs 2824-2. 2836-2 VS 2834-2. Setting the 2836-2. Power Reserve. Rotor Text. So I'm curious if you have total control of the GMT hand in the 2836; i.e., able to adjust it to any minute within the hour. I think it's generally assumed the 2893 is the better GMT movement than the 2836, but is that really justified?
ETA makes the ETA 2893-2, which is a GMT movement from the Swiss factory. The genuine Rolex GMT hand does fit it. Both are considered on par with genuine Rolex movements. The thing that's nice about the Rolex 6542 and the 1675 GMTs is that the ETA is .Rolex’s earliest version of the current in-house caliber is the 3035 movement system. This caliber was developed by Rolex and introduced in 1977. This caliber is built upon the 1500 series and increased the balance speed, taking it from 19,800 BPH to 28,800 BPH. The increase in BPH allowed a more accurate caliber.
