But when it runs mechanically, the date changes minutes after midnight? Is there a way without having the Rolex watchmaker open my GMT II, for me to adjust by (hand)? As far as I remember, Rolex say as long as the change is between -5 mins to +10 minutes of midnight, it’s within their specification. As others have said it depends on the placement of the hands at assembly. The fact is that the change is instantaneous. Many watches change within an hour or two of midnight.
