I've tested YSL L'Homme at Sephora and Ultime is stronger/projects/lasts longer than L'Homme. To my nose the ginger stands out to me, during the opening slightly and more during the drydown. L'Homme Ultime is a good day time office work scent that can be worn buy any age group. This is not an outdoor, clubbing, or date fragrance. This is could also be for a man who wears only one fragrance. I can also see a very confident woman pulling this off.
I would personally suggest "L'Homme Ultime" over "L'Homme Cologne Bleue" as Ultime is just the superior fragrance in my opinion & works great in the summer! I heard it was recently discontinued so if interested you might want to pick up a bottle as soon as possible!
