I did not use the Apple Guarde waterproofing spray on my Chocolate Muse, but I did use the Apple leather care lotion (moisturizer) on it when it started to look a little dry and faded. It worked great, and it helped make a few scratches disappear. You don’t have to baby this bag – it’s not easy to scratch, even if it bumps into things when you’re walking or swinging it around. And mine doesn’t have any obvious scratches on it. (I only noticed a few tiny scratches on the YSL logo and some dust around it).
