Obviously the 36 mm is a very well built watch, but I have to be honest with my assessment. The 39 mm had more weight and the bracelet/clasp felt and looked more substantial to me. The 40mm looks much better than the 36mm, but Rolex should have went to 42mm. The 36mm looks outstanding. Whenever I see these side by side shots it reminds me why I sold the 39mm and bought the 36mm. Yes, but if you are going to compare, 34mm vs 36mm is closer than 34mm vs 39mm of the new explorer.
