The 1950 Panerai Luminor 8 Days GMT a.k.a. PAM 233 is one of the most robust and one of the most beautiful Panerai watches out there. The Panerai 233 is also a significant watch in Panerai's history because it was the first watch they ever made with an entirely in-house movement. Other: Water Resistant to 100M (10ATM), rubber "OP" straps, calf leather "fluted" straps, brushed screw-in buckle, quick-release strap system, pear-wood case. The 233 debuted in 2005 and was one of a few PAMs to use an iteration of the new P.2002 in-house movement.

This watch comes originally fitted with a black calf strap, a second interchangeable rubber strap and a large size Panerai steel buckle; however, in this case, the strap on the watch is a Swedish Gustav Ammo by Greg Stevens Designs and a Piotr buckle.Rubber B has developed an impressive 4 lines of bands that fit the Luminor 1950 8 Days GMT PAM 233. The Solid Series is the Rubber B patented “Blocked Integration” series which has a tight fitting band to the Panerai case. Rubber B has 6 luxury colors to choose from in this series. New for this model was Panerai’s quick-release strap system. Rather than the lug screws, the PAM 233 is equipped with a push-lock on the underside of the lug that when pressed with the included tool would release the lug bar. This makes strap changing much easier, quicker, and scratch less.
